CONCENTRATION OF-50TMEN AT WE_*LING^O-". Lieutenant-Coloner' Gordon * has received instructions frow'the Defence Department to assemble 100 meu'in Christchurch, much on the former conditions, for training as reserves for South Africa. The men are to be" from 21 to 40 years of age, not under sft 6in, chest measurement in proration, riot more than 12st 71b in weig_t, rations, ciothing'and equipment found; preference to be given to men from mounted corps; pajr to be 2s per day until date of embarkation, when full scale of pay will be given.
