TO THS EDITOR OF TH* PRESS, Sir,— , O wad some power the giftie gie us To ace oursels as others see us! It wad frae mania a blunder free us, And foolish notion. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out*of thine own eye; and tfoen chart .thou see clearly to caet out the mote out of thy brother's eye, * - The New Zealander is sliou'**ig very loud i'ust *tow against the narrow-minded Boers! iecause the Boer will not give others equal lights with himself! But how about the New Zealander himself? Have we forgotten that we, here in New Zealand, make a Chinaman, a Jap., and othere pay £100 for living in New Zealand? Have we forgotteu that we refused to allow Austrians to land iv Auckland? There are other instances of New Zealand's narrow-minded, mean policy, When we ourselves are so selfish, why peed we go and fighs the Boers for being like us? —Yours, etc,, W.B.
