This Board met on October 2nd. Present _-Me_N- W. J. Guy, B. T. Fowler, and Geo. Witty. In the absence of Mr W. Barley, Mr VV. J. Guy was voted to the chair. The Works C-_n_m_t_ee recommended that Selwyn Street should be rograded from Milton street to the Boundary road. It was decided to have specifications pit-pored for taking off the sides of the road from Milton street to j opposite Falloon's, and tbat tho road be uniformly lowered to an even grade from F_lloon's to the Boundary road. Messrs Coiner and Johnson were re-appointed to attend any farther meetings with reference to pubbc abattoirs, and were authorised to support the suggest-ons contained in the resolutions passed at the last Conference.
