The bidding was fairly brisk throughout the sale, and nearly every line changed hands. The following are a few of the chief sales: — 398 merino ewes and lambs 6s, 244 crossbred ewes and lambs Bs, 320 do 8s 2d, 100 hoggets 13s lid; freezers brought from 16s to 16s 6d. hoggets 13s to 13s 7d. fat ewes 14- 6d to 17s, store wethers 14s 9d to 15s Id.
