Oamaru—Caim; baro., 28.73; therm., 46; showery, slight swell. Bluff—Wind, S.W., ligiht; baro., 28.74; , therm., 45; fine. THE WEATHER IN AUSTRALIA. _ The following weather reports from. Australian stations were received yesterday: — Albany, June 29—Wind, N.E.; baxo., 30.00; cloudy, but. fine. Hobart, June 29—Wind, S.E.; baro., 29.70; fine. Sydney, June 80^—Wind, W.; baro., 29.80; i fine. Tho pressure at fiycfiaqy has fallen onei tenth, and at Hobart'it is three-tenths lower [ than by the last report, and will probably increase at Sydney and decrease at Hobart. , There is a low pressure iv the Tasman Sea travelling to the south-east, also one westward of, but near, Tasmania, travelling eastwards. i The atmospheric conditions in Now Zealand to-day are due to a".cyclone of unusual extant, t which has come from about JN.N.W., the cenk - tre or lowest pressure being over the central part of the South Island. At 5 p.m. the baro- ■ meter readings 'were the lowest since 12th ' October, 1897.
