The Otterbum sighted the brigantine on March 30th in ' mid-ocean, in a sinking condition. She sprung a leak in a heavy storm some days before, and the crew took to the boats. When sighted by <Qob Otterbura a tempesta* ous sea was running", and they got aboard with great difficulty. The brigantine- flank shortly after.. '\.\
