It states if the Bill is passed it will shatter the whole of the judicial organisation. February 11. The Chamber of Deputies, after spending some time in discussion, ratified M. Lebret's Bill by 332 votes to 216. M. Dupuy threatened to resign. The British, Continental, and leading Paris newspapers deplore the Bill as an interference with justice. Though many influential Moderate Republicans signed the protest against M. Lebret's BUI, none of them participated in the discussion in the Chamber of Deputies. LONDON, February 10. * "The Times" says it is clear that the charges preferred by M. Beaurepaire against the judges of the Court of Cassation are i puerile.
