French 1 takes Swordfish 11. to New Plymouth on < Sunday next. The racehorses Rex and '■ Fabulist will also probably be taken down by J. C. Booth on the same day to fulfil : engagements. | POLO CLUB'S SPORTS. With good entries and the promise of ! capital contests the annual sports gathering of the Christchurch Polo Club, taking place . this afternoon, at Plumpton Park, should be a thoroughly enjoyable function. Indeed the reunion has only to be like its forerunners to bo that.
