m i (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DUNEDIN, February 9. At the meeting of the Council of the Congregational Union, a sustentation scheme on the basis of income and church membership was submitted by the committee, and referred to the churches for consideration. Grants in aid to the extent of £355 were made. It was decided to request the various churches to make an annual communion collection, or otherwise contribute to the Pastors' Provident Fund. The offer of the "Christian Outlook" to provide space for Congregational Church news was gratefully accepted. A deputation from the Dunedin Presbytery was received and welcomed. s
