WOOL SALE.
m The third and last wool sale of the series was held at Timaru yesterday. The attendance wag large, and competition keen for best-wools. The catalogue comprised 2407 bales. There was an advance of Jd to Jd on light halfbred and merino clips, and £d on three-quarterbreds and crossLreds, but there was no improvement in coarse heavy wools. The range of prices was :—Merino 6d to B£d*, halfbrod 6d to 7Ad, crossbred and ihr*e-quarterbretl 4d to 6£d, halfbred pieces 4£d to 6Jd, merino pieces 4£d to 6Jd, bellies 2U to 4g<], locks lid to 2^d.
