The Christchurch Homing Society flew 08 a race from Timaru on Saturuav last Eight birds competed, representing seven lofts. Mr H. Whitaker. of Timaru liberated the birds. The winner was \j' F. Kingsford's Selwyn, which flew the dis! tance of 90 miles yOOyds in s'urs 41min" Owing to bad weather this was the only bird timed in.
