THE NELSON-WEST COAST COACH SERVICE.

Messrs Newman Bros., proprietors of the coaches running between Nelson and.Blenheim, and Nelson., Rcefton, and Westport, have received the following letter, which ■peaks for itself: —"Government House, Wellington, New Zealand. 19th January, 1899. Sir,—l am directed by his Excellency to inform you that you are at liberty to call your coaches as tinder his patronage. The drive from Bromell's to Reetton via Westport was performed with good teams throughout, and tho coach was roomy and comfortable. His Excellency desires to thank Mr Tom Newman, who drove tbe coach, for the trouble lie took in panting out all the places of interest along the road, and for his care and *ttention.
