A RECORD IN AGES.
Mrs Mary McDonald, of Brown's Hill. Carlow, whose death is just announced, had entered on her 111 th year. She distinctly recollected the scenes enacted in the streets of Carlow during the Revolution in 1798, and had the clearest recollection of having seen tbe head of Sir Edmund Crosbie, who was hanged as a rebel, suspended from the tree outside the present Shamrock Hotel, Carlow, which was than the residence of the Sovereign of Carlow, as the head of the Council of Free Burgesses was styled.
