OLD AGE PENSIONS.
There are eighty applications set down for hearing the Old Age Pension Court, to-day. and" a similar number for Fri-' day and Monday next. On Wednesday, the 15th, the magistrate "presides at the Court at Lyttelton, and on Friday, 17th, at Southbridge. On the following week, commencing on Monday, the 20th, the Christchurch Court will sit each day, excepting Tuesday. It has happened more than once that applicants attend on the wrong day, assuming possibly that because the court is sitting their applications will be heard. All applicants are summoned to. appear on a particular day, the date of which is stated in their summons, and those who present, themselves at the wrong time will give themselves unnecessary trouble. Certificates for tihe Old Age Pensions granted at Kaiapoi and Bangiora are now to be obtained from the Clerk to the Bench.
