Strong West gale from South-East to East aud North-Eust, thence South to Kaikoura and Hokitika. Strong from North-East to North and West everywhere else. BAROMETER— Rise Northward of Kaikoura, fall elsewhere. S_A—lncrease ou Western and heavy on Eastern coast. TIDES— High on East coast Soutn of East Cape, increasing ou all the Western coast."
