The difficulty of finding somebody to take the place of Mr .J. C. Martin us Public Trustee, is generally appreciated. The necessity of obtaining tiie services ot a man with legal as well as business qualifications makes the position all the more complicated.
Ministers were understood to be in Cabinet during the latter part of to-day, but the trend of their deliberations hits not yet transpired. The Hon. John M'Kenzie will sail lor Scotland early in April. The Premier is expected to leave for Dunedin on Wednesday vr I'hursduy.
