The Morning Light arrived from Waitapu on Thursday evening. The Oonah arrived from Melbourne, 7 via Dunedin, yesterday i_or_!_g, aud sailed for Svdhey, via Wellington, yesterday evening.

The Talune,arrived irom JSydaey, via Wellington, yesterday morning, anu sailed for Melbourne, via Uuueain, in the afternoon. She left Sydney last Saturday. .... Tho Xoiosa arrived from tho north yesterday afternoon. Sho is purely,. a c cargo-carrying steamer, having no passenger accommodation, and is one of ..the well-known Blue Star line. .-She has great cargcf capacity, she being capable of stowing away 6300 tons dead weignt under her hatches. Un this, her first voyage from New York to the colonies, the steamer had over 4000 .tons of general merchandise, a portion of which was landed at Melbourne and Sydney, the balance being for New Zealand. The xoiosa .ie a steel screw one-deck steamer, built in 1896 by Messrs Richardson, JJuck and Co., of Stockton, and is of the iollowing dimensions: — Length 330 ft, breadth 43ft, depth of hold 18ft 9in. Her tonnage is 3269 gross, 2099 net. The engines are triple expansion, the diameter of the cylinders being 23_in, 39in, and 64in, with a stroke of 42in, and are 273 li.p. The New Zealand shipping Company has chartered the German barque Lilla, now at Dunedin, to load for London, but it is uncertain whether she will complete her loading at that. port. The ship Wellington arrived from Dunedin yesterday morning and anchored in the stream, where she awaits orders.
