PROPOSED VISIT OF AN ENGLISH TEAM.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) • WELLINGTON, February 3. The New Zealand Rugby Union to-night discussed a letter from the New South Wales Union respecting tlic amount of the guarantee likely to be received from the New land Union for the visit of a Lnglish team. The latter is without funds/ and it wa3 decided to refer the question to tne Auckland, Taranaki, Wellington, Canterbury, Otago and Southland Unions as to the assistance they may offer.
