United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. PARIS, February 1. M. Lebret's Bill deprives the Court of Cassation of the power to liberate Dreyfus, and leaves the ultimate decision to a Courtmartial.

M. Cbaravey, the -writing expert wao testified that the famous bordereau was in the handwriting of Dreyfus, ■has now given evidence that the writing was doubtful, and he must re-examine the document.

M. Mazeati's report says that threats to murder the Judges of the Criminal Court led to M. Loew appointing Maitre Bard at reporter to the Court. The latter -was unmarried, and if he had been murdered fewer persons would have been bereaved.

M. Jean Cruppi, member for Toulouse, and Secretary of the Deputies , Committee on M. Lebret's Bill, has prepared an amendment obliging the Court of Cassation itself to decide the innocence or guilt of Dreyfus.

The Premier arid a majority of the Cabinet favour this amendment, but M. Lebret declines to accept it.

M. de Beaurepaire declares that the criminal chamber of the Court, before hearing Maitre Bard's report or examining the dossier, resolved to pronounce Dreyfus innocent.

LONDON, Feoruary 2. M. de Blowitz, the Paris correspondent of "The Times," says M. de Beaurepaire and others are conspiring to sap the institutions, and are eager for the resignation of the members of the criminal chamber, and the annihilation of the enquiry, thus saving a grateful army.
