WEATHER FORECAST.
For twenty-four hours from 9 a~u., Deo. 9thv Captain Edwin telegraphs as under :— "WIND-r-Gale with rain from between East and North and North-West after twenty hours at jail 'places Northward of Taurahga and Raglan, strong East to South and'South-West winds on the coast between Napier and East Cape, moderate Northerly wind in other parta of the North Island, and moderate to fresh Westerly winds in the South Island. BAROMETER—FaII Northward of Tauranga and -Raglan, rise everywhere pise. SEA—Heavy on the coast between East Cape and Castle Point, increase on West coast North of Cape Egmont, moderate elsewhere. TIDES—Good on East coast North of Lyttelton and on West coast North of Cape Egmont, moderate elsewhere."
