The College v Park game was concluded last night. With 32 runs to win, and four wickets to fall, Tolan and Crow resumed batting. . The former brought his score to 71, and was given, out lbw. With a few more runs added Wailler was given out with the same decision. Then Crow played a ball on to his wicket, and with one wicket to fall and 14 runs required, the excitement ran high. McGregor and Power for Mandeville. A cricket match between the District School Club and the boys of the Deaf and Dumb Institute was played at Sumner on Thursday afternoon. The scores were— Institute (23 and 57) 80, and District School (36 and 46) 82. Young Brown bowled best for the latter, and McHattie for the former. The annual cricket match, N.Z. Farmers' Co-operative Association and North Canterbury Stores Company, takes place on Friday next. Followers of Senior Cup matches have a treat in store for them to-day, when the two unbeaten teams, Midland and United, will commence their matci*.
