THE MEAT EXPORT TRADE.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION- TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, September 2. Mr H. C. Cameron, New Zealand Inspector of Produce in London, writing to the Agricultural Department on the 28th July, stated that on that date the lamb trade was especially healthy, and all lots comiug forward were readily sold as soon as landed, thus saving all storage risks and charges. A number of sheep by the Tekoa arrivesoft and misshapen. The insulation of the tunnel gave way through straining, and a leakage of air occurred, causing the ternto rise. About 200 carcases were amaged.
