SENSATION IN FRANCE. SUICIDE OP COLONEL HENRY. THREATENED MINISTERIAL CRISIS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. PARIS, August 31. The Press is staggered at Colonel Henry's confession of the authorship of the letter which was recently read by M. Cavaigniic in the Chamber of Deputies as a proof of Dreyfus's guilt. September 1. When interrogated in the presence of M. Cavaignac, General Boisdeffre, and M. Goure, Colonel Henry prevaricated, but confessed when directly accused of forgery. The revelation created a tremendous sensation. It is reported that M. Brisson and three of bis colleagues favour the reversion of Dreyfus's sentence. M. Cavaignac threatens to resign, still believing in his guilt. General Boisdeffre has resigned. Colonel Henry, immediately after his confession, committed suicide, at Montelerin, with a razor. Major Esterhazy has been cashiered.
