CONSUMPTION OR PHTHISIS • Is a constitutional wasting disease, in which the lungs are gradually destroyed by morbid deposits of tubercle and consequent tdceration. To the bacilli of these deposits Towj-ESD's Cis. amon Cube is highly antagonistic, and, in the early stages of the disease, is sufficiently powerful to overcome and destroy the germ* on which the progress of the disease depends. Apart from this the valuable soothing properties of the cure are such as to speedily allay the racking oough, and so promote the patients recovery. It is a certain cure in ordinary Colds, Recent Cough, Loss of Voice, Bronchitis, Bronchial Asthma, Whooping Cough, and Cr-op, while its soothing and germicidal Eroperties render it of the greatest value m ifluenza, Pleurisy, Pneumonia and Catarrh.
