Mr Geo. McMillan, of Mesopotamia, came to town yester day.
Mr and Mrs E. Shove, of Opunakei arrived here yesterday.
Mr F. R. Baker arrived from Wellington yesterday.
The Rev. C. S. Bowden arrived from the south by the express last night. Colonel Francis wa» a passenger by the same train.
Mr A. P. O'Callaghan was also a passenger from the south last night. MrE. G. Wright, M.H.R., went south to Ashbur ton yesterday. Mr J. • Grigg and Mr E. F. Grigg were passengers by yesterday's express south. The Hon. G. McLean is a passenger by the Rotomahana from Wellington this morning. Messrs Taylor and McNab, M.H.R.'s, are passengers by the same steamer. Dr. Logan is a passenger by the Waihora from Wellington.
