The Rangiora market yesterday was well attended. In the yards of Mr Buss the entry of stock was 3000 sheep, 90 cattle and 70 pigs. Biddings were spirited. Prices were—freezing sheep 14s to 15s, good butchers' ewes 10s 6d to 12s 6d; inferior do 8s to 9s, prime fat lambs 9s to 10s, second quality do 7s to 8s 7d, stores 5a to 7s, fat merino ewes 4s to ss, crossbred turnipers in good condition lis to 12s, do poor condition 9s to 10s, backward sorts dull of sale, halfbred ewes in lamb two and fourtooth 7s 6d to 8a 6d, old do 5s 6d to 7s. Prime beef 18s per 1001b, second quality 15s to 163, cow beef 12s to 13s ; spnngers, good sorts, £6 10s to £6 15s, other sorts £3 to £4, all other cattle at late rates ; pigs, prime baconers light weights 52*- 6d to 55s 6d, prime porkers 30s to 365, small do 18s to 255, good stores 25s to 28s 6d, small do 14s to 18s, weancrs 7s to 9s, suckers 3s to 6s.

In tbe produce yards of Mr A. P. Tutton —Sheepskins, crossbreds 2s 9d to 4s,- pelts and late shorn 4d to Is, bag wool 3d to 6d ; fat 9s to lis par cwt; hides, Id to 2J-d per lb ; fowls Is 6d to 2s 6d per pair, ducks 3s 6d to 4s ; milling and seed wheat 4s to 4s 6d per bushel, chickwheat 3s 3d to 3s 6d, oats 2s 6d to 33, barley 3s 3d to 4s, beans 3s 9d to 43 2d, peas 3s 9d to 4s 3d, bran 90s ton, sharps 1003, flour 24s to 26s sack, ipples 53 case, onions 8s to 9a cwt, potatoes £5 10s to £6.

At the North Canterbury Yards the entry was 1300 sheep. Freezing sheep 13s to 14s 9d, fat ewes 9s 6d to lis 3d, forward wethers 12a to 12s lOd, backward do 9s to 10s 3d, lambs 7s 5d to 9s, two-tooth ewes in lamb Bs, old ewes in lamb 5s 6d to 6s 3d.

At the Tinwald saleyards yesterday, Messrs Fried lander Bros, sold, on account of Mr J. W. Stoddart, a six-tooth crossbred wether for 21s.

At the monthly sale at Mr W. T. Robinson's yards at Cheviot, on Friday, there was a small yarding of stock and a fair attendance of buyers. Cattle were extremely dull of sale, and few lots changed hands. Sheep and pigs were sold as follows : Crossbred wethers 10s, maiden ewes 7s 4d to 8s 6d, lambs 8s 2d, pigs, weaners, 6s to 7a.
