(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAMS.) AUCKLAND, June 9. Mr F, Lawry addressed his Parnell constituents to-night in the Newmarket Hall. Hβ justified the administration of the Government, and severely criticised the late speeches of Mr Scobie Mackenzie, M.H.K., in Auckland, and of Mr Geo. Hutchison, M.H.R. He received a unanimous vote of thanks and confidence for his support of the Government. He stated that he would contest Manukau if Sir Maurice O'Rorke retired, but otherwise he would contest Parnell against all comers at the next election. He hoped Sir Maurice O'Rorke would not retire.
