Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the /necessary alterations :— MONDAY, MAY 23. For Northern Ports, per Herald, at 1.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2 p.m. ; guard's van, 2.45 p m. train. (via Vancouver), per Rotomahana, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; gua-'d's van, 9.15 p.m. train. For money orders at 4 p.m., registered letters atss p.m., newspapers, books, &c, at 7.30 p.m. Due Vancouver June 16th, and due London June 29th. 'Mails for South Africa leave Melbourne on 2nd June. Mails for Fiji close at Auckland 4 p.m. 21st May.
