THE FROZEN MEAT TRADE.
United Press Association—By Electric Teleg-raph— Copyright. Received May 22nd, 6 p.m. London, May 21. America has purchased a steamer with refrigerating machinery at present engaged in the Australian trade, and is negotiating for the purchase of other vessels of a similar character. It is feared that frozen meat freights will advance, owing to the shortage of tonnage.
