A tennis match, played on the Rangiora courts on Saturday oetween Amberley and Rangiora's second team, resulted in a victory for the former by 27 games. The following are the sets played:—Allison (R.) beat Pearce (A.) 9—5, Daniell (R.) beat Wagner, (A.) 9—6, Ogden (R.) beat Coleman (A.) 9—6, Mason (A.) beat Smith (R.) 9—6, Mies Pengelly (A.) beat Miss Boyd (R.) 6—2, Mies Ada Coleman (A.) beat Miss Johnston 6—l, Miss Alice Coleman (A.) beat Mica Gower (R.) 6—3, Mies Wagner (A.) beat Mrs Ogden (R.) 6—4, Allison and Daniel (R.) beat Pearce and Wagner (A.) 9—l, Coleman and Mason (A.) beat Ogden and Smith (R.) 9—4, Missee Peragelly and Coleman (A ) beat Misses Boyd and Johnston (R.) 6—3, Misses Wagner and Coleman (A.) beat Mesdames Gower and Ogden (R.) 6—3, Pearce and Miss Pengelly (A.) beat Allieon and Miss Boyd (R.) 6—4, Wagner and Miss Coleman (A.) beat Daniell and Miss Johnston (R.) 6—2, Coleman and Mica Wagner (A.) beat Smith and Mrs Gower (R.) 6—l, Mason and Miss Coleman (A.) beat Ogden and Mrs Ogden (R.) 6—o.
