THE PARLIAMENTARY BUILDINGS STRIKE.

WELLINGTON, April 28. The bricklayers who were employed en Parliamentary Buildings made an offer to complete the work at current rates on the co-operative system, and also to engage and pay labourers if the Goverment allowed them to select the additional bricklayers whom it would be necessary to take on in order to get the work finished io time. The Minister for Public Works declined the offer. A few men have been put on to keep the building going.
