(FROM OUR OWN COBRESPONDENT.) GREYMO&TH, March 19. The second day's racing of the Greymouth Autumn Meeting took place to-day. The weather was beautifully tine, and the attendance was up to that of the first day. The racing was of an interesting character. The course was heavy. The starter was more successful than on the opening day with the barrier, and made some excellent starts. The sum of £2749 passed through the machine for the day, niakiug a grand total of £5316 for both days. Tho Spinner had no difficulty in disposing of the opposition in the Flying" and County Plate, and Ahaura also had an easy thing in winning the First Hack Race. Surrey won the principal event by half a head after a ding dong finish. Cheque had au easy win in the jumping race. The Second Hack Race was taken by Rustic after a well contested racje. In the Farewell Handicap Haria was elected favourite, but Frenchy, under punishment, beat him home. Re suits:— FLYING STAKES, of 40 aovs; second 5 soys from the stako. Five furlongs. 152. Mr T.
