_____ ' PROSPECTS OF THE BILL. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph - Copyright. Received March 18th, 9 a.m. Melbourne, March 18. The general opinion of the delegates is favourable to the recommention of the Federal Bill to the people. Sir J. Forrest declined to express an Opinion until he consulted the members of his Cabinet. Mr Kingston said it was the most magnificent constitution into which the representatives of an enlightened people ever breathed the breath of life and hope. Mr Isaacs required time for consideration, but Mr Deakin recommended the measure outright. Received March 19th, 12.50 a.m. Melbourne, March 18. The Federal Convention has closed. Adelaide, March 18. Mr F. W. Holder thinks that federation will be an accomplished fact by January next; that is, so far as the petitioning of the Imperial Government to ratify the Bill is concerned.
