Messrs Dalgety and Co., LhrntaSk, have received the following cable messages from their London office under date 16th ins,t.:-~ . " Since our last telegram prices of tallow in general are unchanged. There is a brisk demand without a quotable change in values." *' Since our last telegram the wool sales continue firm and active, wi__ brisk competition. For the bulk of scoured merino wools prices are, on the average, 5 per cent, to 8 per cent, higher than closing rates of last series.
