TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Snt, • The Committee of the above fnnd, at its last meeting, unanimously decided to include Birch Hill within the scope of its work, bo that the sufferers from the fires there will "equally participate with Oxford residents in the relief fund. The following gentlemen were also invited to act upon the Executive Committee: — Messrs R. Moore, M.H.R., and T. Caverhill, representing the Kaiapoi Committee ; the Mayor of Rangiora and Messrs R. Buddo and E. B. Millton; thus securing an impartial and intelligent consideration of all •hums for relief from any part of the district. This action will doubtless commend itself to the subscribers, and, we trust, will result in a substantial addition to the generous and practical sympathy already •voiced.—Yours, &c, R. J. Murray, Hon. Sec.
