MARRAM, OR BENT GRASS.

TO THB EDITOR OF THB PRBSS. Sib, —The public are indebted to Mr M. Murphy for his suggestions re use of the marram gross planted on some of the reserves of the City Council. But Mr Murphy says, "the foliage is not eaten by any kind of stock." It was, I believe, stated at the last meeting of the City Council that the reserve (about 10 acres) was worth £30 per annum, and thafc in the opinion of one with direct experience of the uses of the grass. Who is right ?—Yours, kc, Inquirer.
