Lodge's b h Sortie, by Catesby—Barossa, 5 yrs .. .. .. .. .. ..3 Fifteen started. Betting—7 to 2 against Chitchat, 5 to 1 Moonlyong. The favourite took charge at the entrance to the straight, and won by a length and a quarter. Time, lmin 45sec.
