Wednesday, Novembke 10. (Before S. H. Willis and T. Dyer, Esqs., J.P.'s.) Case Dismissed.—James White, second officer of the steamer Westralia, was charged, on the information of R. E. Williams a seaman on board the same vessel, with assaulting him. Three seamen and Captain Bull were called to prove the assault. The men said they saw nothing of it, they being busy at their work. Captain Bull said he saw the two imn struggling on the deck, but saw no a&suiiit. Case dismissed. Civjl Case. — J. Palmer v Ogbnrn, claim £3 163. Judgment for plaintiff by default.
