LITTELTON.
Satitrdat, September 18. (Before J. T. Brice and G. Laurenson, Esqs., J.P.'s.) Alleged Larceny.—Peter Hagland, on remand, was charged with stealing, in the beginning of March, 1895, one jib-sail, value 15s, the property of Jeremiah Sullivan. Mr Nalder appeared for the accused, who pleaded "Not guilty." After hearing a quantity of evidence the Bench dismissed the case.
