September 17. The following averages of the members of Stoddartfs team have been compiled in connection with first-class marches of the English cricketing season just closed. Batting—B'ord, firat, 53 runs per innings} Druce and McLaren, second and third respectively with 51 each; Ranjiteinihi, fifth with 45; Abel, sixth with 44; Howard 38, Wainwright, Hirst and Mason .55 each, (Stoddarfc 30, Sfcorer 27, Board 22, Brigga 17, Hearne 13, Richardsoij 11. , Bowling—A. B. Trot*, first, 50 wickets at a cost of 13$ rune per wicket; Richardson, third, 273 wickets for 14* runs. Briggais average is 16*. Hearne's 17& Hayward*e 18, Mason's 22 J, Wainwrighfa and Hirab'e 23 each,
