Prees Association-By Telegraph—Copyright.
JLjondon, August 25.
Mr Chamberlain, on the 13fch insfc., forwarded to the respective colonial Governors a despatch containing a report ot the conference between the Colonial Office and the colonial Premiers. He says the Imperial Government desire to record its strong sense of the loyal and patriotic spirit shown by the Premiers, and hopes that their colonial colleagues will be satisfied that their visit to England has been productive of great advantage to the Empire. The Conference will, he believes, have a lasting effect in securing a complete mutual understanding between the colonies and the Mother Country.
