Ch, the numbers formerly given to the Beautiful Star, have been assigned to the Omapere on the local code in place of TX. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tougariro arrived yesterday from Auckland, and the same Company's steamer Waimate from Wellington. The latter is expected to remain here for some time.
