DUNSANDEL DOMAIN.
TO THK EDITOR OF THK PKKSS. Sir,—l see in one of your issues the Secretary of the Dunsandel Sports Association accuses "No More Subscription" of making incorrect statements. It is the Secretary that made the iucorrect statements. In the first place he tells us the contractor was not a member of the Committee. He was Chairman of the Committee, and saw the tenders both times they were advertised for. If the contractor has resigned he has done so since he accepted the tender. The Secretary also .states that the alterations were made in the interests of competitors and the spectators. The alteration has never been asked for by either, and the Committee had no right to spend the public's money without first calling a public meeting. It would bo almost impossible to carry on the sports without the voluntary subscriptions; and those who have given so freely in the past will be very shy of giving in the future, seeing how their money has been wasfcefully spent.— Yours, &c, One of the Subscribers.
