ASHBURTON RACING CLUB.
At a meeting of the Committee of the Ashburton Racing Club on Saturday evening, it was decided to adhere to Boxing Day for holding the Summer Meeting, and to hold an Autumn Meeting ou April 21st and 22nd. It was stated that Mr O'Connors services as starter would not be available on Boxing Day. Mr E. Saunders wrote offering his services as starter for that day without payment, and his offer wae accepted. I. was unanimously de-ikled to send a letter of condolence to the widows and families of the late Mr D. McCormick and the late Mr W. M. Lytttetoo.
