AUCKLAND, August 21. The Auckland Coursing Club's meeting at Avondale, Plumpton, concluded to-day. There was a good attendance, and the judging and slipping were satisfactory. The following were the finals :—
CHAMPION COLLAR STAKE, winner £15 and
champion silver collar ; runner-up £7. Mr J. W. Russell's Shylock, by Padlock—Spruce, beat Mr Monowai, by Master Buraey—Fly, and won the ~t_se. -■
RECOVERY STAKE; winner £12; runner-up £5— Mr J. W. Russed's Rocket, by Crown Prince—Kate beat Mr N. Christian's Newport, by Port PhilipSprue*, and won the stake.
SUPi'l EMENTARY STAKE; winner £4 ; runnerup *._—Mr J. W. Rns-eir. Maude B, by Caradoc— Violet beat Mr B. Burkes Commerce, by Merchant— Kotiro, and won tue stake.
ALL-AGED STAKE—dinner £4; runner-up 25s— Mr A. E. Stycb'. Sealed Packet, by Svdenhoui—Misa Kimberley beat Mr J. Waterfall, by Merchant —Sweet Water, and won the stake.
