A SMALL GAIN.
Judgment for 8d and each side to pay its own costs was the result of over two hours' litigation at the Wellington Magistrate's Court last week. Judgment was given for plaintiff for £3 16( 2d, but as the defendant had paid £3 15s 6d into Court the above balance was all that remained to the plaintiff.
