RANGIORA HORSE FAIR.

MrW. Buss held a speßiat horse fair at Rangiora yestei _ay T when there wa3 a very large attendance and buyers from all parts of the province. The entry; comprised 182 horses, including some very good draughts, for which there was keen competition. There was also a Special line ou account of Mr D. Rutherford of Leslie Hills, for which the bidding was animated, and every horse was soldi- Good broken-in draughts realised £28 to £55i medium quality do £18 to £23, older' sorts £11 to £14, 'unbroken draughts (three-year*olds) £18 to £24, two-year-olds £14 to £16, light harness horses £6 to £12, hacks £5 to £8. Out of the entry 165 horse** were sold.
