The information supplied to our shipping reporter that Captain Berg, of the schooner Maud.Graham, had been appointed pilot at Kaiapoi was not correct, as Captain Berg did not apply for that position. He has, howJeVeicy resigned his command of the Maud Graham. •;'■"_

The steamer Waikato returned from Dunedin and Timaru yesterday. She completes her loading here, and sails on June sth for London with a full cargo of produce. - The s.s. Tasmania arrived yesterday from Dunedin, and sailed in the evening, for Sydney via Northern ports. ■~- . . The sailing of the s.s. Wakatu was postponed from last night till this evening.
