ALLEGED ATTEMPTED POISONING.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)
NAPIER, May 26. A young man named Walter Findlay, who managed Salek's pawnbrokiog shop, was arrested last evening on a charge of attempting to murder his infant child by administering verdigris. The accused was brought before the Court this morning and remanded, being admitted to hail, himself in £200 and two sureties of £200 each.
