AUCKLAND,-May 25. The r*sidence of Mr C. S. McKenny, at Ellerslie, was destroyed by fire on Sunday evening. Itrwas insured for £350, and the furniture for £250 in the North German Office. The Ices above the insurance was '£200. Nothing is known as to tbe origin of the fire.
